Brief outcomes of first consultation
10. The first public consultation exercise setting out the policy proposals for transposition into Scots law was issued to 427 addressees on 21 December 2006 and ran for 3 months to 23 March 2008. 54 responses were received including public authorities, NGOs, private sector and individuals. In addition, 194 responses were received from individuals solely on the application of the Directive on issue of genetically modified organisms ( GMOs).
