Section 8: Conclusions

59. This data summary documents levels of participation in ILA Scotland. It shows the growth of the scheme over the three years of operation and the larger uptake of the ILA 200 offer. A comparison of ILA Scotland learners across local authorities shows that overall rural authorities appear to have higher levels of participation than urban. The summary provides insight into the characteristics of learners and their motivations to aid future development of the scheme.
