1. Introduction
This summary presents key statistics on clients assisted through Supporting People funding during 2006-07. Detailed tables at Scotland and local authority level can be accessed through the Housing Statistics for Scotland web pages at: http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/Statistics/Browse/Housing-Regeneration/HSfS
This is the fourth year for which data have been collected. The data collection process was simplified for 2006-07 in order to improve data quality and reduce burden on data providers. In the longer term, the data collection is being reviewed with the aim of moving to a more outcome focussed approach.
Please exercise caution when comparing 2005-06 data with 2006-07 data as some element of change may be due to changes in recording and collection methods.
