Ackowledgement

The Scottish Government gratefully acknowledges the help of the Scottish Consumer Council ( SCC) in undertaking this research. In 2005, the SCC commissioned questions on an omnibus survey of the Scottish population to explore awareness and perceptions of mediation amongst the Scottish public. The report of the findings is available from the SCC website at: www.scotconsumer.org.uk

The SCC kindly agreed to these questions being replicated in this omnibus survey, to allow some comparison of findings over time.
