8. Administration and Enforcement
These regulations are enforced in Scotland at marketing stages other than retail by The Scottish Government Egg Marketing Inspectorate. At retail level, enforcement is carried out by the Local Authority. Producers, collectors, packing centres and wholesale outlets are visited periodically to ensure that the Regulations are being complied with.
