We wish to thank the people who assisted us during the inspection. We would particularly like to thank the people who use services and the carers we met during the inspection fieldwork. We are grateful to everyone who took the time to complete our questionnaires that we sent out as part of the inspection process. We would like to thank the local inspection co-ordinator and his colleagues who gave us excellent support, as well as the staff who helped us with the case file reading. We would also like to thank all of the people we met in East Lothian for their assistance and hospitality during the fieldwork.
