QUESTIONS

Glasgow will be staging the Commonwealth Games in 2014. Two years before then, London will be staging the Olympic and Paralympic Games. We, the Scottish Government, want to ensure that Scotland and the people of Scotland secure the maximum benefits from these Games and that we leave a lasting legacy from them.

We would like to invite you to give us your thoughts and ideas on how we can do this. Opposite are a few questions we hope will help form your response.

QUESTION 1: ARE THE BENEFITS YOU WOULD LIKE FROM THE GAMES COVERED IN THIS PAPER?
QUESTION 2: IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE WE SHOULD BE DOING?
QUESTION 3: HOW CAN WE, INDIVIDUALLY OR COLLECTIVELY, BEST ACHIEVE THESE AIMS?
QUESTION 4: DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER COMMENTS TO OFFER ON WHAT SHOULD FEATURE IN THE FINAL GAMES BENEFITS AND LEGACY PLAN?

Note: if you choose to respond to this consultation please also complete and return the attached Respondent Information Form. This will ensure we treat your response appropriately.
