We show below some key statistics for the first 2 years of the Investment readiness scheme:
Year 1
- 177 grants approved in first year, of which 139 have now completed
- Total committed funding of £578,384 (average £3,638 per grant)
- First year grants concentrated in Lanarkshire (60) and Glasgow (45)
- £57.9 million in funding resulting from IRS grants approved in first year; mostly in Lanarkshire, Glasgow, and Edinburgh and Lothian
Year 2
- 135 grants approved in second year, of which 103 have now completed
- Total committed funding of £581,783 (average £4,581 per grant)
- Second year grants concentrated in Lanarkshire (43)
- £31.7 million in funding resulting from IRS grants approved in second year; mostly in Lanarkshire and Edinburgh and Lothian
