10. Home Circumstance Reports ( Table 10.1)
10.1 A total of 1,326 HCRs excluding home leave reports were recorded in 2006-07, a decrease of 3 per cent on the 2005-06 figure of 1,361. This represents 3.6 such HCRs per 10,000 population in 2006-07. In addition, 1,005 home leave reports were recorded in 2005-06 (2.8 per 10,000 population), an increase of 31 per cent on the 2005-06 figure of 765. The majority (98 per cent of HCRs for parole/non-parole and 97 per cent of home leave reports) of HCRs were for males.
