APPENDIX 3 - ENGAGEMENT BETWEEN COUNCILS
This table outlines the levels of engagement which occur between councils in the production of HLAs. Some HLA teams are composed of Local Authorities/Councils which work together to form joint structure plans, others work independently. This appendix is referred to in section 2.2 of the report.

North East Scotland Together | Aberdeen City
Aberdeenshire | The City and the Shire produce the audit as a single document which combines data from both areas. |
Dundee & Angus | Angus
Dundee City | Land information for the audit is jointly monitored by Dundee and Angus and a conjoined document is produced. The authorities alternate on a yearly basis on the production of the document. |
Argyll & Bute | Argyll & Bute | Single audit - no joint work required. |
Stirling & Clackmannanshire | Clackmannanshire
Stirling | Audits are produced independently by each authority within this structure plan area. |
Dumfries and Galloway | Dumfries and Galloway | This authority produces four audits - one for each Local Plan area. |
Ayrshire | East Ayrshire
North Ayrshire
South Ayrshire | The three Ayrshire Councils undertake the survey work and prepare individual databases. These are passed on to the Structure Plan team who publish draft audits, undertake consultation and host a meeting of the interested parties before publishing the finalised audits. Individual draft and finalised audits are published for the three Councils however the documents are prefaced with a common summary for the Ayrshire area. |

East / West Dunbartonshire | The eight councils prepare and publish the HLA's independently. The information is subsequently compiled into an overview of the land supply in the Structure Plan Area and the Housing Market Areas by the joint Structure Plan team. Data from Homes for Scotland is not used as part of the data collection process. |

Midlothian
West Lothian | The Lothian Audit is collated up from individual local authority Audits and a Lothian wide summary provided. |
