NEW AND REVISED TABLES

This note lists the new tables which are included in this edition in order to provide additional information. It does not mention changes to the statistics which are presented in the tables and charts, for example following the introduction of new methods of collecting the data: such changes are described in the relevant Chapters.

New tables

  • Table 6.7(b) - average daily traffic flows at selected key points on the road network (time-series).
  • Table 9.17 - characteristics of air terminal passengers;
  • Table 9.18 - mode of surface transport used to arrive at the airport;
  • Table 9.19 - origins/destinations of terminating air passengers;

Tables that have been revised to provide additional information

  • Table 6.13 - this table has been changed to show emissions of greenhouse gases by transport allocated to Scotland on the basis of carbon dioxide equivalent instead of carbon;
  • Table 8.8 - this table has been expanded to include new and re-opened stations. These were Gartcosh opened May 2005; Kelvindale in Sept 2005; Chatelherault, Merryton and Larkhall in Dec 2005.
