These estimates are based on information from samples of passengers using the principal routes: the International Passenger Survey does not collect any information from passengers using other routes (e.g. Aberdeen or Rosyth) - see sections 3.14 and 4.4 of the text. There are minor differences between Tables 12.26, 12.27 and 12.28, due to totals being calculated by adding separately-rounded numbers.
