Notes: East Renfrewshire, Eilean Siar, Edinburgh, Highland and North Lanarkshire did not provide this information. 2005-06 figures for Eilean Siar and North Lanarkshire have been incorporated into this table. Figures for East Renfrewshire, Edinburgh and Highland have been included as "not known", according to totals in Table 1.26. In addition, Scottish Borders included only those young people receiving aftercare, rather than all young people that were eligible. The numbers of young people are therefore best understood as estimates.
West Lothian did not include figures for 19-21 year olds in time for inclusion. The numbers missing have been calculated from Table 1.26 and included in the "not known" column.
The "no longer in touch" category does not completely match that in Tables 1.24 because of inconsistencies in reporting.
