The Research Team wishes to warmly thank those who have made this research possible and enjoyable to undertake: the Analytical Services Unit at Scottish Executive* for their close and supportive liaison, Homes for Scotland in providing logistical assistance (especially in Phase I) and general guidance, including the important contribution of members to the Advisory Group; other members of the Advisory Group and Reference Group for very useful comments and inputs at key stages of the research; and in particular the senior managers and other staff of the private sector housing developers / builders who freely gave their time and assisted in every way requested.
