Annex 5: The Neighbourhood Household Survey

Scottish Executive Evaluation of Neighbourhood Anti-social Behaviour Strategies

Household Survey

Introduction

A. READ OUT:

Good morning/afternoon/evening. My name is _______ from Management Information Scotland. I am undertaking a survey on behalf of the Scottish Executive as part of a study about responses to anti-social behaviour in neighbourhoods across Scotland. The survey asks about your views and experiences of anti-social behaviour in this neighbourhood. By neighbourhood we mean the street you live in and the streets near by. The results of the survey will be used in a report to the Scottish Executive aimed at improving the effectiveness of measures to tackle anti-social behaviour in your neighbourhood and elsewhere.

All the answers you give will be confidential and will only be seen by the research team at Sheffield Hallam University, who will not pass your answers and personal details on to anyone else.
