1. Freight lifted in Scotland by UK-registered hauliers, regardless of whether the destination is in Scotland, elsewhere in the UK or outwith the UK. The figures for
2004 onwards are not comparable with those for earlier years, due to changes to the methodology and processing system for the survey.
2. Again, all freight lifted in Scotland.
