4 ELIGIBILITY & FUNDING
Projects or measures implemented under LEADER must meet the following criteria:
- be located within the area of a selected Local Action Group
- be of particular significance and demonstrable value to the Local Action Group in implementing the Local Development strategy
- involve and engage the population across the Local Action Group area (ie, "bottom up")
- make a positive, or at least neutral contribution to sustainability (environmental, economic, and cultural/social aspects)
- be clearly related to one of the strategic priorities noted in the LAG's local rural development strategy
- contribute to the implementation of the Local Action Group's Local Development Strategy
- have the positive support of the competent and relevant Local Action Group's selection panel
- demonstrate additionality
