NOTES

  • All calves sold or transferred to a finishing herd.
  • Recording on calves ceases under this herd at sale, or at weaning if keeping to finish (further recording should be done under the finishing herd).
  • Treatment does not include prophylactic/preventive treatment. Please only record treatment given in response to clinical symptoms. The person involved in the treatment should use their judgement as to whether any renewal of symptoms is a relapse requiring continued treatment (to be counted as part of the original case) or a separate case.

* If recording annually, if mating and subsequent calving fall into separate years, record these measures in the calendar year in which the related mating occurred.
