14. Bail Information (Table 89)
14.1 During 2005-06, the Courts made 8,052 requests for bail information to local authorities, up 5 per cent from 7,638 in 2004-05. A total of 917 bail supervision cases commenced in 2005-06, relating to a total of 774 individuals. This reflects increases of 15 per cent and 8 per cent respectively on the 2004-05 figures of 798 cases and 718 individuals.
