12. Home Circumstance Reports (Table 78)
12.1 A total of 1,361 HCRs excluding home leave reports were recorded in 2005-06, an increase of 2 per cent on the 2004-05 figure of 1,339. This represents 3.8 such HCRs per 10,000 population in 2005-06. In addition, 765 home leave reports were recorded in 2005-06 (2.1 per 10,000 population), an increase of 24 per cent on the 2004-05 figure of 619. The majority (97 per cent of HCRs for parole/non-parole and 96 per cent of home leave reports) of HCRs were for males.
