The research team are very grateful to all those who participated in our 'expert' consultation programme, who contributed their experience and expertise at the start of this literature review. Their input was both informative and stimulating and it assisted the team to focus on the breadth of needs under focus, core influences on people's experiences of services, and common strands in good practice. Secondly, we offer our thanks to those agencies that submitted reports to highlight the experience of people with multiple and complex needs and examples of good practice.
