Challenging sectarianism: anti-sectarian education in practice

As part of the package to support Don't Give It, Don't Take It, the Scottish Executive produced this DVD which supports teachers in using interactive techniques to raise awareness of sectarianism. It shows Zee Sulleyman, a secondary drama teacher, demonstrating work with young people. It also includes interviews with practitioners, and guidance on how to handle difficult situations which may arise.

A copy of the DVD was sent to every local authority school. Further copies can be obtained by e-mailing antisectarianism@ed.ac.uk

Sense over Sectarianism

Sense over Sectarianism works to tackle sectarianism in Glasgow and the surrounding travel-to-work area. It is a partnership of Glasgow City Council, Nil By Mouth, Rangers Football Club, Celtic Football Club, Glasgow Presbytery of the Church of Scotland and the Archdiocese of Glasgow Roman Catholic Church.
