Chapter Eight: Perception of Link to Free School Meals, Registration and Scottish Executive Funding
All respondents were asked for their opinions as to how they perceived the link between free school meal entitlement, registration and the funding which is provided by the Scottish Executive. There was, in fact, only limited knowledge from respondents on anything concerning the funding process. Most of our respondents noted that only senior officers within their local authority or others within the finance department would have any dealings with the funding aspect of free school meals.
That said, none of our respondents were aware of any inherent problems between free school meal entitlement, registration and funding received from the Scottish Executive.
