AIM OF THE CONSULTATION
This consultation has been prepared by the Scottish Executive. The aim of this consultation is to gather views on draft regulations relating to parental involvement in appointment procedures for Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher posts in Scottish schools.
The purpose of the regulations is to ensure that parents are actively involved in the process relating to Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher appointments.
