PART 3: LESSONS LEARNED AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Throughout the preceding Chapters both general and more specific lessons have emerged on the consultation process adopted for the Best Value consultation and on approaches to evaluating such consultations. In this Part of the report these lessons are collated and summarised for ease of reference.
Chapter 11 uses a new evaluation framework to evaluate the extent to which the consultation achieved its objectives. Overarching and generalisable recommendations are made.
Chapter 12 highlights more specific good practice and lessons learned relating to the consultation and to the evaluation respectively.
