HEALTHCARE SCIENCE ROADSHOW

For all healthcare scientists from life sciences, physiological sciences, physics and engineering, all grades of clinical scientist, biomedical scientist, clinical technologist, clinical physiologists, medical technical officer, medical laboratory assistant, assistant technology officer, and any other support worker in the healthcare science workforce.

In conjunction with the Scottish Forum for Healthcare Science, we (Scottish Executive Health Department) are holding 6 'roadshows' across Scotland to engage with frontline healthcare scientists. We want to give you the opportunity to discuss some of the key issues affecting the healthcare science profession as a whole and the services which you deliver in contributing to the health and wellbeing of the people of Scotland. For example;. technological developments; the shift to community-base care; the demands of education and training; immediate demographic pressures, regulation and role development.

This is an opportunity for you to engage with us and set the scene for developing a National Action Plan to take forward the healthcare science profession within NHS Scotland.
