13. Bail Information ( Table 74)
13.1 During 2004-05, the Courts made 7,638 requests for bail information to local authorities, up 45 per cent from 5,275 in 2003-04. A total of 798 bail supervision cases commenced in 2004-05, relating to a total of 718 individuals. This reflects decreases of 7 per cent each on the 2003-04 figures of 856 cases and 770 individuals respectively.
