11. Home Circumstance Reports (Tables 50 and 71)
11.1 A total of 1,339 HCRs excluding home leave reports were recorded in 2004-05, an increase of 8 per cent on the 2003-04 figure of 1,235. This represents 3.7 such HCRs per 10,000 population in 2004-05. In addition, 619 home leave reports were recorded in 2004-05 (1.7 per 10,000 population). The majority (98 per cent of HCRs for parole/post supervision and 96 per cent of home leave reports) of HCRs were for males.
