Frequency of use of values of most STATS 19 variables: 2004

This annex lists most of the "Stats 19" variables, showing the values which were used in the returns for the latest year and the number of times each was used. Variables such as "grid reference" and " road number" are not listed, because they have many possible values.

Because the Scottish Executive's road accident statistics database has been converted to the "2005" version of the "Stats 19" specification, the categories shown here reflect that. The limitations of the conversion process mean that the figures for the categories identified by "#" may be very unreliable - please see section 7 of Annex C.
