EVALUATION TEAM AND PARTICIPANTS
The Scottish Executive commissioned this demonstration Post Occupancy Evaluation to find out from stakeholders how well school buildings meet their needs, and to provide local authorities with an example of a POE process in practice.
People Environment Studies Limited engaged C Watson Consultancy Ltd to carry out the Post Occupancy Evaluation. Chris Watson is a specialist Post Occupancy Evaluation architect with considerable experience in evaluating many school buildings.
Keith Thomson, of the School Estate Branch at the Scottish Executive, co-ordinated planning and photography for the Post Occupancy Evaluation interviews.
Niklas Bergstrand, of the School Estate Branch at the Scottish Executive assisted with co-ordinating and on-site work.
Lindsay Robbie of Falkirk Council selected Braes High School as one of the Phase 1 PPP schools suitable at the time of the evaluation and co-ordinated with the school managers and the School Estate Branch.
Hugh McWhinnie, Deputy Head Teacher of Braes High School supported the Post Occupancy Evaluation planning in organising the school participants to attend interviews.
