CONSULTATION ON PROTECTED TRUST DEED REFORM

Please find attached a copy of the Scottish Executive's consultation paper on the reform of protected trust deeds in Scotland. We are very interested in your views on these proposals and a response document is included within the consultation paper. We are inviting written responses to this consultation paper by 14 April 2006.

Electronic responses would be preferred and an electronic version of the response form can be accessed at http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Consultations/Current . The draft regulatory impact assessment is being prepared and will be available at this address also.
