In summary, the total primary and delivered energy for 1990 is estimated to be similar to that used in 2002, as shown in Table 1 below:

However, there have been significant changes in the amount and type of fuels used in the main sectors. This is illustrated further in Figure 4 that shows fuel use per sector for both years:
