1. The configuration and number of vessels used to meet the freight service level is a matter for bidders.
2. Bidders are required to provide a mid-week sailing on the Kirkwall (Hatston) to Aberdeen route, in addition to the requirements set out above. The exact timing of this additional sailing should be agreed with local island interests, particularly the livestock industry.
