August 2005

Dear Consultee

Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000 Improving with Experience: Consultation

I am writing to invite your comments on the above consultation paper. Please find enclosed the following papers:

  • Consultation paper: Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000 "Improving with Experience"
  • Consultation Response Form
  • Respondent Information Form

The deadline for responses is Friday 4 November 2005. The consultation period is, on this occasion, slightly less than the usual minimum period of 12 weeks. However, as the proposals have been developed following engagement with stakeholders during the "Learning from Experience" consultancy and in other ways, we hope this will not cause you difficulty.

Please return the Consultation Response Form, together with the Respondent Information Form, to the address provided on the Consultation Response Form. If you have any queries please contact Alasdair Menzies on tel. 0131 244 3581.

Yours sincerely

Lorna Brownlee signature
