Source: 'The Same As You?' annual survey - 2004

Notes - (* - Information not available from Local Authority)

  1. The number of adults using a LAC as a percentage of adults known is an estimate as the figures may not have come from the same base of individuals.
  2. Care should be taken when comparing 2003 and 2004 figures. Differences between these figures can be partially accounted for by changes to guidance associated with the survey and improvements in data collection techniques as well as actual changes in the numbers known to authorities.
  3. The 2003 publication included figures for Glasgow City relating to active care management. These have now been excluded as LAC has recently commenced in Glasgow and figures will be available for 2005.
