Assessment of Achievement Programme: Report of the Sixth AAP Survey of Science (2003)

Appendix C: The pupil questionnaire

Your school agreed to participate in this year's national survey of Science. As part of the survey you recently took two written tests. Thank you for helping us in this way.

Now that the testing part of the survey is over, we hope that you will be able to help us again, this time by filling in a short questionnaire. The questionnaire has been designed to give information about how P5 pupils in Scotland spend their leisure time, what learning activities you take part in both in school and outside, how your time in lessons is spent, and what you think about Science.

Your own personal answers to the questionnaire will be known only to the survey team and will be confidential. You will not be named in the survey report when the findings are published.

However, your answers to the questionnaire will be very important as part of all the answers to the survey, and we thank you very much for your extra help.

Please read the questions carefully and answer by writing in the space provided or ticking the box.
