Thank you for responding to the consultation on the recommendations contained in the Report of the Summary Justice Review Committee.
Please find enclosed an analysis report of the views expressed during the consultation exercise. A copy of the summary and analysis report is being sent to every individual and organisation who responded to the consultation.
The attached link http://www.scotland.gov.uk/about/JD/CP/00019008/Homepage.aspx will take you to the Summary Justice Review website where you can access an electronic copy of the analysis report. You will also be able to access through the Summary Justice Review website a summary of the views expressed during a 'key stakeholders event' that was held in May 2004 during the consultation period. Hard copies of this summary are available upon request.
If you have received a copy of the analysis report and did not respond to the consultation, you have been sent a copy as an individual or organisation having an interest in the summary justice system.
