    Section B: Fast Track Hearings and Related Papers

    Some information relates to the fast track Hearings pilot, which was designed to address offending by persistent young offenders and to do so more quickly. Although not requested, it is not easy to see what data the Executive had requested without the letter of 13 May 2003 which is included for completeness. You will also find enclosed the Fast Track Hearings guidance booklet relevant as it sets out the requirements of each body and the funding made available to them.
