11.7 Using the data in Table 24, it is possible to calculate that the average size of reclaimed derelict sites was 1.4 hectares. Derelict sites reclaimed for residential development were an average of 1.3 hectares, compared to 7 hectares for agriculture.
11.8 The average size of urban vacant sites brought back into use was 1.1 hectare. Sites used for residential development were also an average of 1.3 hectare, those used for other general industry were an average of 1.1 hectares.
