8 Size of derelict and urban vacant sites
8.1 Table 14 shows the relationship between the date when a site was first identified and the size of the site. The average size of sites identified before 1981 is 3.5 hectares compared to an average of 1.3 hectares for sites identified between 2001 and 2004.
