A Consultation on Reducing Exposure to Second Hand Smoke
Report of Regional and Area Events

INTRODUCTION

This report has been prepared by the Scottish Civic Forum. It documents comments made at:

Four regional events in Dundee, Glasgow, Inverness and Aberdeen chaired and facilitated by the Scottish Civic Forum on behalf of the Scottish Executive.

Eleven smaller events designed and facilitated by the Scottish Civic Forum in Glenrothes, Granton, Kilmarnock, Stranraer, Falkirk, Livingston, Dalkeith, Ardrossan, Greenock, Bellshill and Aberfoyle.

Two additional meetings held at St Stephen's High School, Port Glasgow, and in Galashiels.

The events took place over the summer of 2004 and the results were reported to the Scottish Executive for consideration as part of the public consultation on Smoking in Public Places.
