Source: SAAS management information.
1. Student loan entitlement are calculated by SAAS but the Student Loans Company extends the loan. These figures relate to entitlement rather than uptake which may be
lower. Prior to 1999/00 students applied for a loan through their institution.
2. Each student in counted once in the total row irrespective of the number of different loans they receive. For this reason the total number of students is lower than the sum of the number students entitled to support through each individual loan.
3. Cash totals may not equal the sum of their constituent parts due to rounding.
