Strathclyde Police Primary Inspection 2004
List of areas to be reviewed at the next inspection
During the inspection, it became clear that the force has embarked upon a significant programme of change which will have far-reaching implications across a whole range of functions. The impact of some of these projects was beginning to emerge during the inspection but, given the extent and pace of development, it was not possible to provide a definitive assessment in relation to a number of areas.
Consequently, HMIC has identified certain issues which it will revisit at the force's review inspection, which is scheduled to take place during 2006. The areas for future review are as follows:
1. Functional portfolios of Assistant Chief Constables ( paragraph 1.5).
