The following maps show the number of employees in the private, public and voluntary sectors as percentages of all social care employees. This is based on the post codes of the employees workplace not their home which may fall under a different local authority especially in urban areas where commuting to work may be common. It is clear that the sector composition of employment however varies significantly across local authorities.
