Getting into Shape
for public sector procurement opportunities

The Scottish Executive and Scottish Enterprise are joining forces to promote greater awareness of the tender opportunities available to Scottish companies through offering goods and services to the public sector.

Seminars are to be held at centres throughout Scotland to give details of how to access and respond to the many contracts advertised each year. Topics include:

· understanding and accessing the public sector market
· getting your business into shape for successful tendering
· accessing on-line business opportunities

Keynote speakers will represent the Scottish Executive Procurement Directorate, BiP Solutions Ltd, hosts of the Government Opportunities website, and Scottish Enterprise 's e-business team. A pack of specially commissioned materials will be made available to each delegate, providing information, guidance and best practice criteria as well as signposting links to other useful agencies, publications and websites.

These half-day ( 9.30am - 1.00pm ) events will be offered free of charge. Places are limited to ensure an interactive element.
