Children's Panel Training Organisers - Scotland: Annual Report 2002/2003
INTRODUCTION
A Review of Children's Panel Training Units (CPTUs) carried out by the Scottish Executive concluded in 2000 that a clear management structure was required. A CPTU Manager was appointed to oversee the allocation of responsibilities and workloads within the system. In order to inform this process, it was agreed that an Annual Report on Children's Panel Training throughout Scotland should be compiled. This is the first of these reports and represents activity from August 2002 until June 2003. The Report's purpose is to record the work undertaken by the Children's Panel Training Units and will look at the following areas:

Definitions of Training
Details of each Children's Panel Training Unit
Training provision throughout Scotland
Calendar of training dates
Anticipated calendar of training dates for 2003/4
Issues for 2003/4 and beyond
