24 This figure has been collated from the Aggregate Children Looked After Survey (CLAS) Return for 2001/02. This survey collects data about all looked after children. Audit Scotland's annual reports on the performance of councils in respect of a range of statutory performance indicators include information relevant to this outcome. Their data relates solely to children looked after and accommodated away from home by education authorities. The reports can be accessed at http://www.audit-scotland.gov.uk
