Water Quality in Supply Zones

Scottish Water carried out a total of 2,800 tests on tap samples taken in the 9 water supply zones within Aberdeen City boundary. The table below provides details of the main parameters tested.

Incidents or Events

There was one event reported in Aberdeen City area during 2002. This was in October when raised Cryptosporidium levels resulted in a press release from the Health Board for immuno-compromised residents to boil their drinking water.

Local Authority Comments

No comments were received from Aberdeen Council on the quality of water supplied by Scottish Water.
