1. 2001-02 data for assessment are not included due to outstanding HL1 returns from the previous paper-based data collection system. This will be updated once the dataset has been finalised.
Data prior to December 2001 may be estimated: refer to section 5.

2. Percentages for 2002-03 data are based on applications made during the period, including lost contact/withdrawal/resolved prior to assessment and cases which have not yet been assessed. For applications made in 2002-03, there were 3,826 cases which had not been assessed.
