Guidance on the identification of cattle.
The British Cattle Movement Service (BCMS) operate the
Cattle Tracing System (CTS) on behalf of SEERAD. BCMS deal
with the Registration (issue of cattle passports),
Movements and Notification of deaths.
Sheep and Goats
Guidance concerning the identification and notification
of movements are dealt with by the Scottish Animal Movement
Unit (SAMU).
Pigs
Guidance concerning pig identification. Local
Authorities inform the Scottish Animal Movement Unit (SAMU)
of pig movements on behalf of producers.
